Yercombe Lodge is a Residential Care Home for eleven adults , registered by the Care Quality Commission.
Yercombe Lodge is a small, homely, family style residence with helpful friendly staff, several of whom have worked here for many years. Our in-house chef produces wonderful home cooked food with daily seasonal menu choices. There are fabulous views from the property which sits in 18 acres of garden and grounds. There are lots of activities for our residents here as well as plenty of space, inside and out, for family visits.
Our ethos is based on person centred care. Care plans are devised around the person’s needs to ensure those needs are met. We can support individuals with a wide range of disabilities and each person is assessed on an individual basis.
Based on their assessment, residents may be suitable for a room on either the ground or first floor.
The purpose-built ground floor rooms are a modern addition to the original house and each of these six rooms has individual access to a small patio area. The outside area is great for meeting family and friends, especially in the summer months when the wonderful views across the River Severn to the hills of Wales and the Forest of Dean can be best enjoyed. One further purpose-built room is at the back of the property.
On the ground floor there is also a cosy sitting room, with a television. A large communal dining room, with outstanding views from its windows, is also often used as a sitting and activities area.
We have a further four rooms on the first floor. These are all accessible by stairs or wheelchair accessible lift.
We are able to support a wide range of disabilities and care needs and can adapt our care to make staying with us as straightforward as possible.
Our home has regular visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist and district nurses and GPs when necessary. Laundry services are included.

The cost of Residential permanent care at Yercombe Lodge starts at £1522 per week.
Prices can be altered subject to inflation and other costs. Residents are given at least a month’s notice of any changes.
