Administrator
Our Administrator, Rose has worked in health and social care for over 30 years, the last 11 at Yercombe. She covers all aspect of administration in her role as part of the Yercombe team. She is often the first point of contact for enquires and is always happy to explain the services we offer or help in any other way she can.
Staff and volunteers
Senior care assistants, care assistants, activities coordinator and domestic staff make up the rest of the team of 30 staff.
All care staff have experience of caring for the elderly in a residential environment and have achieved or are working towards NVQ level 2 or 3 in Care. We are proud to say that lots of our staff have worked at Yercombe Lodge for many years and contribute to the ‘family’ feeling here. All our staff are fully trained to maintain quality standards to the national requirements specified by the Care Quality Commission.
We also have a team of volunteers who work with our staff and service users, often focussing on supporting activities with residents and day centre members, but there are many other volunteering opportunities within the Trust such as maintenance, grounds management, fundraising, website management, IT and so on.
