Yercombe Lodge exists to assist the elderly and disabled of Gloucestershire.  It is a registered charity and regularly fund raises and receives donations to enhance the offering to all its users. Yercombe Lodge is situated in the beautiful village of Stinchcombe (between Dursley and Wotton-Under-Edge) on the Cotswold Edge with beautiful views across the Severn Valley and into Wales and the Forest of Dean. 

Yercombe Lodge offers residential and respite care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in a high-quality caring environment, with a “family” feel. We also offer day services which includes a range of activities in our day centre and day care within the residential home.

Yercombe Lodge offers completely regulated and safe services.

Our Robust policies & procedures make Yercombe a safe place to stay, in particular:

  • Yercombe is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

  • All staff and residents are regularly tested against Covid 19 and appropriate action taken on a positive test.

  • 100% of all residents and staff are vaccinated against Covid-19 in line with Public Health England recommendations

  • Regular cleaning and sanitising takes place throughout the home including at all entrances, rooms and facilities.

  • Yercombe Lodge was in the forefront of acquiring good PPE supplies and has continued to manage the supply level throughout the pandemic.

  • A safe visiting pod, with a dedicated visitor entrance, is now available for use.

  • Our staff are all fully trained including in the undertaking of all recommended infection control practices
